January 31st, 2007 · 15 Comments

As I was snapping shots of the sunrise and then looking at them to [...]

January 30th, 2007 · 21 Comments

In addition to the Quilt for an Hour project, I think I’ll start a monthly challenge to get us to use our stashes. No prizes - just the satisfaction of knowing that you are using your stash.
Anyone want to join me in another effort to use the stash? If so, look over on [...]

War Room Report - Day #1
Here’s how I’m thinking I can follow my “Not Gonna Do” List:

I’ve been lazy! It was too easy to run out and buy new [...]

January 18th, 2007 · 18 Comments

Every day (almost every hour) we are here in MO, I love this place more. I’m just a small town kinda person and I think I’ve definitely found my niche. This has to be the only place in the whole U. S. where the driver’s license people are friendly. Can [...]

Sheila - Were the tags more when you lived in MO? We found they were a whole lot less here than what we had been paying in KY. And, our car and home insurance is less here .. not sure why but I won’t complain.
Bingo Bonnie - I gave the neighbor probably 1/3 [...]

The Best of Plans!

January 17th, 2007 · 13 Comments

Today was another day I had planned to spend almost the entire day sewing. I can’t find my groove!
Yesterday I made dinner for tonight so all I had to tonight was pop it in the oven. Lunch was done so I should have had the entire day to sew, right? Guess not!
5:45- [...]

Fun While Working

January 16th, 2007 · 12 Comments

Chad’s car is parked in the garage but behind his car is about 40 feet of ice. I asked him yesterday to clean the ice behind his car because he was supposed to start school today. He was outside working in single digit temps for about four hours and this is how much [...]
