Mom was showing me all of the tops she has started and I thought this one reminded me of some that Mary has shown lately. Mom still has to finish doing the applique flowers/vine down the white strips but she’ll be done with it soon I’m sure.
This evening was another favorite meal. Popeyes Chicken. Yes, there’s in lots of places now but Popeyes reminds me of Louisiana and what better place to eat it than in Louisiana?

That does look like the coins quilts I”ve been working on. I was debating whether to add some applique to one of them – I have a really cute pattern in one of my books but I don’t do much applique – unless of course I could talk MY Mom into stitching it down for me!

Popeyes reminds me of LA too. I’ve only eaten there once and it was while in New Orleans.
