Quilt for Pentagon Memorial Fund

I just received an e-mail that my quilt, Celebration of Freedom, has been chosen to be the focal point of the auction by The Defense Credit Union Council, at their annual conference. The proceeds from their auction will go towards the Pentagon Memorial Fund. In the past week or so, Catherine Roberts of Quilts of Valor Foundation, sent an e-mail asking for submissions from anyone who had a quilt they might want to consider donating to this worthy cause. I had been wanting to do something worthwhile with Celebration of Freedom and submitted it and . . it was chosen! Next week, the quilt will be sent to Washington, D.C. to be readied for the auction, where I hope it brings in lots of money for the Pentagon Memorial Fund.
