Finished a Big One

September 26, 2007

I just finished quilting Vicky‘s “giturdun” quilt. Whew! That is one big quilt. It ended up being about 120″ x 120″. With Vicky’s permission, I’m sharing a sneak peak of the back of the quilt.

During the quilting process, Vicky and I have had several (dozens) of e-mails back and forth and it’s triggered an idea about doing a series of longarm related blogs. I’ll make myself an outline and maybe start those posts tomorrow.

I did receive the info from AQS about my Schoolhouse presentation. For those who have been asking what time I will be speaking, I am scheduled for Friday, October 26 at 5:25 – 5:55 p.m.

Judy,
I’ll be leaving Houston for Atlanta Friday afternoon, so I’ll miss your presentation. But I hope to run into you at the show.

The quilt back is wonderful.

Is that the one for her boss, using the fabric that she did not like in the Irish Chain pattern? Just curious…
