Pictures are Hung

Putting holes in drywall makes me sweat! Yesterday we got out the hammer, picture hanging gizmos, screw driver, tape measure and went to work. We got the “Laquidara” crocheted name hung and the W. F. Normal tile hung. I still want to hang something under our name but haven’t found the perfect thing yet. I might even come up with something to hang over it too. This is the stairway going down to the basement.

I couldn’t get a good picture of the W. F. Normal tile but will try one day when the sun isn’t so bright. It doesn’t have non-reflective glass because regular glass makes it better to see the texture of the tile but it also causes the light, ceiling fan, window blinds and everything else to show up when I’m trying to get a picture. I love it!!

I love finding things like this. I didn’t even remember having this but it’s something Chad made in 1st or 2nd grade. It’s his foot and hands! I’m so glad I found it.

Love the moose! Isn’t it fun to have things like that from our kids when they were young? And the tile…wow! I also like what you did with the crochet. And of course the quilts are awesome. Ok, that’s all the compliments you get for one day, lol.

Great job on getting some pictures hung! My very first house had horse hair plaster walls – the 1st picture I went to hang up – the entire wall fell apart!!! We had to take down the wall, insulate (the insulation was strips of old newspaper), add studs, put up the drywall, mud/paint and THEN hang up the picture – geez! I still laugh when I think about what my face must have looked like when a huge chunk of the wall came out!
