Winter Wonderland

The snow isn’t too bad. The little road in front of our house is even ok and I haven’t seen or heard a snow plow come by today. We must’ve not had as much snow as they predicted but I suppose I shouldn’t say anything til the day is over.

I can’t seem to get warm today. Ever notice how the thermstat can say 70 degrees in the summer and it still feels hot but today, the thermostat says 70 degrees but I can’t stop shivering. We rarely turn the heat up past 66 but I just can’t get warm.

I am working on borders for the poinsettia quilt. I will get that rascal finished and quilted before this weekend is over! Gotta have something to report for my Stash Buster Sunday Report! 🙂

That happens to me too – I feel so cold now, but in the summer the same temperature would be hot. I hope your parents make it there safely, and that Chad’s car situation works out all right. Here, you can have your insurance company pay for the repair, and then they will go after the other driver (and their insurance). If they get reimbursed, they’ll cover your deductible as well. We had a hit and run last year. (late 2006), and the other driver apparently didn’t have insurance – they still haven’t collected yet.

Maybe because the air is more humid? I know it has seemed so cold in the low 60s lately, and it seems that it was that when I was happily stitching outside in the fall in the forest. But maybe my memory is faulty – no surprise there!

Snow! A good day to stay inside and sew!! I’ve been bumping up the heat at night here, too. Don’t laugh. It’s cold here! LOL
