Borders Take Forever

By the time I went to bed last night, I had the entire quilt put together . . except the borders. These borders are not anything intricate and I honestly thought I’d have them on by noon and had the whole thing quilted by tonight but here it is after 11:00 p.m. and I just now finished.

I did decide to change the borders a bit from what I originally had so I had to draw that out and since I can’t seem to sew without written instructions, I had to re-do the border part of the pattern.

If all goes according to my plans, I’ll get it quilted tomorrow. I really like this quilt!

I love this quilt too, it turned out wonderful. So simple, but really effective.

And as for borders! 4 DAYS the ones on my last quilt took. Can’t quite believe it, but I was working without a pattern so that’s my excuse.

The quilt is gorgeous Judy. I have a hard time with borders, they always seem to take 3-4 times what I expect and I only do simple borders! Also, enjoy your recipes.
