Stash Report – Week #4

Here’s my report. Don’t forget that I went to the Road to CA show, was there every single day, and I bought ZERO fabric!

This week, I busted 10 yards but mostly it was from screwing up the star quilt. Not sure what’s better — busted stash or additional UFO’s!

Since this is the end of the first month and I used 30.5 yards this month, I wonder if that translates to an expectation of being able to use 366 yards this year??

Here’s my report:

Fabric Added This Week – 0
Fabric Added Year to Date – 0
Fabric Used This Week – 10 yards
Fabric Used Year to Date – 30.50 yards

Ok. I am very, very impressed. I don’t know how you made it through the vendors they have at shows without buying ANY fabric. You have more willpower than I do.

Woooohooo Judy, you are my HERO…man you must have nerves of steel to pass all those vendors up! On a side note…I know you are keeping track of your stash usage on an excel spreadsheet…but how do you estimate how much you use on a scrappy project? Using big pieces for backings or borders wouldnt be bad, but what about little pieces, say like triangles or squares you would cut out of a FQ? Are you giving it a good ole guess?

One more question..can you tell me more about the Goshen Star on your UFO list? I grew up in Goshen IN and I would love to hear the story on this one! Thanks for all the inspiration you share!

You went above and beyond not buying anything at Road! 30 yards is a great start to reducing your stash. Great job!!!
