Quilted Pink Topsy Turvy Nine Patch

I’m teaching the Topsy Turvy Nine Patch this week and the original one is on its way to Paducah for the quilt show. I had this pink and gray one started so I finished it but didn’t have time to do any custom quilting on it. The plan was to do a quick meander but when I loaded it, I felt like doing feathers so I did a free motion feather meander over it. I love doing feathers and I think they look so pretty!

And here’s a shot of the whole quilt (or as whole as I can get right now).

I think it turned out very pretty!

Love it! What a fine combination gray and pink is. The border is lovely. Your free motion feathers look so good, it is hard to believe it is free motion.

How fun to see both color ways – amazing how choice of fabrics really changes things! I think the feather quilting looks really good and is just perfect with this quilt. What lucky students!!!

    Cheers!
