Tweaking a Design

star-sample

I’ve played around with this quilt in EQ for a while now but spent a lot of time this weekend on it.  There are a couple of blocks I may change but I think I’m pretty much ready to get started working on it.

These are the fabrics I think I’m going to use.  The colors aren’t really right in this picture.  I may change out the fabrics before I get started but I’m determined to make it from the stash.

Very nice, Judy! It looks like fun to piece; I really like the zigzag border, too…..and just think of all the stash you’ll use!

    It’s beautiful!

I really need to use my EQ6. I bought for me for Christmas 2006, but I didn’t open it until this past Saturday. Crazy, huh?

I just love how you manage to take a basic sampler and dress it up with special sashings and borders. You always manage to design “all the way to the edge”. Thanks for the inspiration

I play with my EQ6 all of the time, yet I don’t seem to ever come up with anything this gorgeous! It is beautiful, I love star samplers!!!
Will this one be for sale?

That looks like a green and purple quilt to me. I thought you were swearing off those? Very nice!

I finally finished my 24 Quilt for an Hour blocks, but am wondering about the setting. I wonder if this would work. I am trying to increase the size a bit.
