Sunday Stash Report – June 29

Mr. Linky has not been very cooperative so if I can’t get him to appear in this post, please leave a comment with a link to your blog.

I added nothing and I used 11-1/2 yards. A small part of that went into the BOM star quilt and the rest was used as backing/binding in another quilt I worked on.

Over 11 yards! Way to bust that stash, Judy! You’ll meet your year-end goal! I just know it!

As for me, I don’t know why I’m even bothering to continue tracking my totals. I really do think I’m buying way less this year, but it’s still ridiculous. (sigh) The next six months are busting months for me!! Truly!

    pdudgeon says

i have used more fabric in 6 months than was my goal for the year, so on that score i’m doing well indeed! (see i’m trying to put a good spin on this!)

as for not adding to the stash…umm…guilty!

i added 4 yards and 12 inches this week, and used 6 yards, 10.5 inches.

added for the year: 125 yards 2.5 inches
used for the year: 142 yards 28 inches
so i’m still to the good.

and we still aren’t talking about fabric additions for June, right??? hehehe.

It was another boring week for me but I took the opportunity to see how I was doing with total hobby spending. I’m over last year! But I have been buying some big supplies this year – like 2 rolls of batting and paint/dye supplies. I’m pretty well stocked so hopefully I can refrain from big expenditures for the rest of the year!

I guess I am not into counting yardage…got 70 yard in Pa this year and of course much more…I am a detailed person but to me I just take a piece and cut and do not consider what I am using…so guess I am going to bottom out on this…if it is required. Although I just labeled everything that is a yard and over and all my fat quarters are in designated color piles…but it sound tiring to do this…maybe someday…
