Quiltathon Day 1 Report

August 9, 2008

It’s 10:30 and I’m quitting for the day. Because tomorrow will have the Mr. Linky for the stash reports, I’m going to add Mr. Linky in this report for the Quiltathon. It will work for both days so if you have a report for Saturday and a report for Sunday, just make two entries on this Mr. Linky box, ok? Make sense?

I got a bunch of quarter square triangles done and I’m tired!

After trimming everything, my guess is that I have the prettiest trash in town.

Hope everyone had a productive day.

I do love your little triangle square, but I have a big urge to steal your trash and dig out those lovely scraps!

Love the trash – I always check mine out when I’m cutting.

I did get a quilt bound today – I hand stitched the binding during the Olympics tonight so I didn’t waste the entire day cleaning.

Judy, i love the 4 patches and QST’s that you made. the colors are beautiful and so rich.

I’ve got my second block for my project all laid out and ready to work on later today.
I’ve also been binding a quilt during the olympics, and have 3 sides to go.

I save some of my tiny cuttings for the birds in the spring. . . it’s fun to see some of the brighter colors sticking out of the nests (or watch the birds flying around with them in their mouths)!!

Have a wonderful day,

Sherry

You did get a lot done yesterday. I’ll be heading into the studio shortly to keep working.

You should let the birds have those scraps in the spring for their nests.
