KCP&L surely did arrive quickly and . . one hour from when we lost power, we now have power again. It was the big green box right in front of our house that did something bad so the 4 or 5 houses between our green box and the next green box were the only ones without power. Sure was nice of KCP&L to come out in the middle of the night just for us, huh? How do those people know what to do so quickly? He opened that box and oh, my . . what a maize of stuff! He knew exactly what was wrong .. and probably would have had it solved much more quickly without Chad standing there talking to him. I would have been talking too but I had to go back in the house for my camera.
Now . . do I try to go back to sleep or do I work on binding til I can’t stay awake any more? I don’t feel very sleepy . . but whatever I do, I’d better be real quiet about it. Every time I went outside, Speck barked and kept Vince awake and he’s not very happy!

always something exciting at your place! I say work on the binding real quietly and if Chad is going to sing to Speck, have him make it a lullaby so as not to wake Vince! LOL

Your life events are so interesting. Did you ever think of writing a book?
I visit your Blog first each to see what exciting thing is going on with Judy. Maybe you can catch a nap today. Have a good one! Sarah
We had a power outage two nights ago also. A racoon got on the lines, caught on fire (electrocuted) and fell onto the ground where it caught the brush and our son’s hay stack on fire. So it was fire trucks and our version of Kansas City Power and Light who showed up for us.
