The Sewing Gazette

While at the Spring Quilt Market, I met Julie Pieri.  As with most all quilters, Julie is a sweetheart! She is a designer and her line of patterns is Quilted Pleasures.  Julie has recently started publishing The Sewing Gazette.  It’s a great free newsletter, with lots of helpful and interesting information.  In each issue Julie features a designer or quilter or seamstress.  Guess who’s featured in the July issue! If you’re interested in receiving The Sewing Gazette in your mail box each month, sign up at The Sewing Gazette!

Thanks Julie!  I enjoyed being your featured designer this month!

Week 26, 2009 Stash Report

Folks . . the year is half over at this point!  Well, maybe not exactly half over but our stash reports for 2009 will be half over after this one.  It’s funny for me to see how many people we start out with and how they dwindle away . . hanging their heads in shame.  Oh, wait . . maybe their heads aren’t hung in shame . . maybe the weight of the new fabric has them all hunched over! :)

8-1/2 yards used this week, nothing added; net used to date:  216 yards

Week26

Who cares . . really?  We’re having fun and we are using some of our stash, right?
