Week 30, 2009 Stash Report

July 26, 2009

I have good reasons excuses for what happened this week but you probably don’t want to hear about it.  I’ll climb back up on that wagon next week and try to prove that I am determined to bust this stash.  Look at what I did!  I added more this week  (89 yards) than I’ve added since January 1 (87 yards).  Still not bad and honestly, 75 yards of what I got was background.  I was getting low on backgrounds, especially if I needed big pieces.

Used this Week:  Nothing
Used year to Date:  301 yards
Added this Week: 89 yards
Added Year to Date:  176 yards
Net Used for 2009: 125 yards

Please share with us how your stashbusting efforts went.  If Mr. Linky isn’t working, just leave your link in a comment please.

Judy, you are still doing great on the stashbusting. I can’t remember what your goal was, but 125 yards gone is great!

My goal is 50 yards to be busted by year end. Alas, I am still on the positive side, but that is going down and I am sewing, which is more important.

So, here is my report….

I haven’t been sewing much this week either. Lots of crocheting and yarn things. Summer can be hard on my quilting progress. I bought thread this week so I am going to get busy.

I had a good week – not much swearing from DH to earn me fabric.

I think I am on a buying spree. Is it just because it’s July? Is it a mid-year crisis??? What’s going on? :)

I added a little bit to my stash too, but it was worth it.
