I share those exact same experiences from time to time. The credit card---I really messed up on the quilt trip. Yikes, maybe I need to go back to work.

I love your blog- you make me laugh. As for skipping around in conversations, you should be around my three daughters- they usually have at least 3 conversations going on, and skip back and forth. You have to be fast to keep up!

You are too funny but you remind me of myself. I hear all kinds of noises especially if the windows are open. We live in the city and there are always sirens and cars all night long. I can hear cars doors slamming the next street over. I've learned to tune out a lot of these noises and tune in to the noises in my own yard. Like the man behind us who smokes outside and I heard him sneezing last night. I wish I lived in the country so I didn't have any neighbours but I'd probably be scared witless every time I heard something. And it's really dark out there without the street lights! I'd rather sleep with the windows closed and the A/C on full blast. Then you don't hear a thing.
