Design Wall Monday 9/21/09

September 21, 2009

Do Mondays come around faster than they used to?  Being accountable for having something on the design wall on Mondays is really helping me a lot.

This is the larger version of the Quilt for an Hour quilt.  The pieced border blocks are just up on the wall . . there are plain borders that go in between them and the main part of the quilt.

What’s on your design wall?

I agree that posting the design wall on Monday pushes me. As of about 9:30 last night, there was nothing on the wall.

I’m working on both sides of the fence lately–I have some very arty work on one end of the design wall and the other end has service quilts for the Women’s Shelter. Today I have the latest service quilt posted. Yesterday it was the artwork. Take your pick!

Love your quilt!
Mondays do roll around much faster, but the accountability is great..very motivating!

I pushed to finish the four wonky cabins that I started that day. Thanks for providing me with a “deadline” of sorts to have stuff on my wall and in the works :)

I, too, *needed* something on the design wall for today’s post. Your Mr. Linky helps to keep me *on track*. Thanks!

I’ve decided to join Design Wall Monday as incentive to actually get something on the wall! Hope this helps!

Thanks once again for hosting this. I do try to have something to show on Mondays, but I don’t always make it!

I’m late but it is still Monday here in Washington… Had to take time to go check out my strained wrist. Not much cutting going on at my house for a week or so.

This is a batik quilt I am working on during my Wednesday sew-ins. I am enlarging the pattern to make it a queen.

Pink and brown blocks are still on mine …. I’m working on bindings so I know that tomorrow they’ll still be there. Maybe this is the week that I get that top assembled — we can always hope!
