Purple Fabric:
Cut 6 – 1″ strips
Step 1: Sew the light background strips to the sides, then to the top and bottom. The sides should measure 2″ x 66-1/2″. Top and bottom borders should measure 2″ x 51-1/2″.
Step 2: Sew the purple strips to the sides, then to the top and bottom. The sides should measure 1″ x 69-1/2″. Top and bottom borders should measure 2″ x 52-1/2″.
Top should now measure 52-1/2″ x 70-1/2″, including seam allowances.
