Week 42, 2009 Stash Report

October 18, 2009

10 more weeks in this year.  Can you believe it?  I cannot!

7-1/2 yards of fabric came home with me from Wichita but I’m considering myself a winner because I talked sense into my head and didn’t buy a sewing machine.  I hear that my friend, Cindy, loves her new machine!  :)

Two stripes and a dot.  Can’t blame a girl for that, can you?  I love stripes and I kinda have a plan for the flower stripe.  Here are my stats:

Used this Week:  NOTHING!!
Used year to Date: 389.75 yards
Added this Week:  7.50 yards
Added Year to Date: 257 yards
Net Used for 2009: 132.75 yards

How’d you do this week?

Judy,

Wanted to let you know that whittlesfabrics.com have dimples for $4.00 a yard.
I have ordered some bella solids from them and was pleased with their service.
No affiliation etc.

I went to the Pacific International Quilt Festival last week. It could have been worse. I bought a pack of 14 -1/3 yard cuts of Hawaiian prints and a pattern plus more dimples. This time it’s 2 yards of black dimples. Like you, Judy, I have and use lots of the dimples.

I love stripes and dots… I’ve always pondered starting a collection of them to make a scrappy quilt with… you know to go along with the collection of B&W’s and Paisleys and… and… yeah I don’t need another collection. LOL

Not added, fabric used but it was stuff I never added into the stash report since I cut it right away so nothing exciting to report.

I’m getting closer to breaking even for the year! It’s time to get into high gear now.
