I love all these comments! I have a white fridge (bought it before we remodeled and salesman said if I didn’t want to clean all the time buy color) NOW, it doesn’t match what I chose when we did remodel! Oh, well. I am keeping it until it dies. Funny thing is you really don’t notice it as it is built in with cabinet sides. But I know it does not match.

You sure got a lot of replys about dishwashers….my old GE is still washing….on the front of the dishwasher is a panel to change from black to white to almond and something else…it’s old. But you are lucky that your window lasted as long as it did. My sliding glass door lost its seal and a few months after it did I was working in the next room and crash it imploded, and we had to hurry and replace the window then. I sure was scary…OBTW I’don’t usually put my pots and pans in the dishwasher…but a new appliance is like getting a new purse. Go for it……

After that comment … I think a nice quiet dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave and built in oven would be a fitting finish!Purchase whatever you like best, enjoy them prior to selling the house and give Vince the bill

I understand the stainless dislike! Who wants their kitchen to look institutional Since I see “powder coat” places around here (I think car painting?) I would get any color and get the door painted what I want it (if at all reasonable $$).
