The more I see your work, the more I realize you are in a class all by yourself. I think you've tapped into a market niche that desperately needed to be filled - ie bright, professional yet youthful. If I had to make a quilt for a young professional or teenager, I would look to your designs first. Another one of your trademarks; or at least I think it is; is your contemporary, professionally designed borders. I think if teenagers could see your designs, they would want to become quilters.

There are few quilt designers I can identify as having a niche, in fact I can only think of 3 off the top of my head; Bonnie Hunter with her scrappy quilts, Pam Bono with her highly original designs and you.

I too love your designs and your stories. If it isn't a closely guarded secret, maybe you could post about how you design. Not that you are ever at a loss as to posting material!

I love this quilt. I was surprised to see the block. I thought it was gonna be really hard. Could the gold blocks be adjusted so that it makes a gold cross in the center? I would love to make this for our school if that was possible. Thank you for your very funny and enlightening site. I love checking it everyday (sometimes I check several times a day).I love the chickens and Vince's shopping adventures! And since I have a prescious angel son like you, I love to hear about Chad.
Thanks again for making my day brighter every day!

You sure are an optimist making a white quilt for a football game! Cool interpretation of the block.
