Just turning the same blocks a bit, I got hearts!
Don’t tell me .. I already know . . the “h” doesn’t belong in Nicole but I was too lazy to go back and fix it. If I were doing hearts (I’m not), I’d probably not put the letters in the border anyway.

oough this is so cute with the hearts
I love the little bit of lime aroudn the red and pink 
….and just an idea on either quilt … but I don’t think I’d have the bottom words upside down… I’d put them turned so that when you are looking straight on at the quilt you can easily read it all. But that’s just me

I like your original design with the XO’s. In my family we always sign our cards/notes to each other with XO (kisses & hugs). Maybe they really are hearts – just in code!
