For those who want to participate and don’t have a blog, please go to #165 (Sarah B) and see how she did hers. Works great!!
New Socks
On one of my Ravelry groups, we’re going to knit one pair of socks each month. I started to choose yellow yarn to go along with the yellow monochromatic quilt but decided I needed something different. This Opal yarn will be my January sock project.
Cleanup on Blue Shelf
I thought I’d been using an awful lot of blue. I had empty spots.
In the above photo, I’d already straightened the far left stack. Then I looked over in the corner . .
The corner where all the UFO’s that weren’t added to my 2011 list are stacked, and there was a pile of blue fabric. It had fallen off the shelf into the abyss of UFOs (including that brown Minkee fabric that was supposed to be a Christmas gift!).
The blue fabric is all stacked neatly now. Next to purple, I have less blue than anything else. I do have a patriotic stack that has some blue and there are several (maybe a bit more than several) blues that are not on the shelf but I really am short on blues. I’ve used quite a bit of blue this year but I have never had a vast stash of blue.
Which color is the largest in your stash? Which color is the smallest?
UFO & Monochromatic Challenges
Just a couple of things to share –
- The UFO Challenge link box will close some time after midnight tonight so if you want to be included in this project and want to do it via your blog with a link, get your link up there. Also, if you’ve added a link, you might want to check to be sure that it’s there. Links that went to posts that did not list UFOs or links that went to a main blog and not to a specific blog post are deleted.
- For the Monochromatic challenge, are you going to share your pictures — what design you’re using, progress along the way, or, are you going to wait til you’re finished or til the end of the month to share your projects.
- If you’re not participating and want to see what we’re doing, would you rather watch along the way or just see our finished projects?
Thanks!
