Stash Report – February 7, 2010

Wasn’t my most productive week but there was cheesemaking and book signings and trips to the post office.  And Netflix .. what part of I don’t want to watch a movie does he not understand??  🙂

On last week’s stash report, I’d included the yardage for Big Star which I had just started and it took most of my sewing time this week to get that top done.  So, I have little to report but at least there were no additions . . not even temptation to add.

Used this Week:  7.75 yards
Used year to Date: 131.50 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 0 yards
Net Used for 2010:  131.50 yards

How’d you do this week.  Links to specific blog posts only please.

Judy, Congrats on your new book. I can’t look at it until I finsh your Topsy Turvy qujilt or I would fall off the wagon and want to buy new fabric to start one of the 16. I’m still on track for my goal of no new quilts–work on finishing my UFO’s.

My used fabric column is not very good this week, but I have finished quilting 1 children’s quilt, 1 charity and one for a friend. So, I had to hurry up and make another kids pillowcase to have any change in my report! This works to keep me busting stash, right?

Used this Week: 1.00 yards – Bugs Bunny pillowcase
Used year to Date: 18.29 yards (had an error in Wk.#4)
    Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 3.25 yards

Wait until I finish the TT quilt. Then my numbers will be bigger! Dar

Judy, you are doing great! 🙂 I’m 83 yds in the negative! So I’ve decided to surrender to my stash in order to control it – i.e. let it go which way it will and just record the numbers so I can keep track. Eventually, it will turn around – or so I hope!
