Design Wall Monday – February 22, 2010

On my design wall is yet another Big Star.  I have enough blocks to make the bigger version or two smaller versions.  I’m tempted to make the bigger version and be done with Big Star for a while or . . I may put it all away and work on something else.  Can’t decide!  The colors remind me of spring and I’m so ready for spring.

What’s on your design wall?

You are the master in beautiful stars! Judy: I had a problem with Mr Linky today – and I may have entered 2 times though can’t see it right now. Please delete the 2nd one – sorry. Have a great one – we got snow and traffic chaos already.

I’m Bit Star inspired. How much background fabric do I need for the large version.

I’m a little slow moving this week, stayed up too late watching Olympics again. I have two tops I am showing on my Design wall. Ready for final Borders as usual. They are my ‘roadblock’! Thanks for doing Design Wall even while you’re traveling. Hope you are not where the snow in TX was.

    These blocks are so happy!
I finally cleaned up my space a bit and got some things done. Now back to the quilting I had planned to do this month:)

Ok, I’m cheating just a little…everything that’s up from Friday night’s sew-in is still up now, and will remain there, most likely, for the rest of the week. I’ve got 3 tops basted to batting and backing (ok, one’s only half basted), ready for quilting. All binding is cut out, sewed in strips, and ironed for stitching. Now I just need a few uninterrupted hours to get them all out the door.

Oh, man! I have to stop “designing.” I’ve got 3 baby quilts pinned, one cut out, 1 large quilt pinned, and 1 half quilted. I need to quilt before I get overrun with tops!! :0
