Egg Recall

August 19, 2010

Everyone checking their eggs to be sure they’re safe?  The only reason I even know about the big egg recall is because . . well, I heard it from a noisy chicken who was telling me how happy I should be with the huge, fresh eggs that are left for me each day.  Thank you, Ruby and your sisters.

Our brand here in southern Delaware appears to be safe. You are lucky to have Ruby & Co.!!!

I was thinking Ruby was going to have to say something. She knows were her food comes from. Only nice eggs for Judy and family. My husband started buying eggs from a co-worker, my eggs are normally 4 days old, but I don’t care, they are delisssss. I’ll be on egg hold for 2 weeks- vacation. Sure hope my spot isn’t taken over lol. Maybe I’ll have hubby pay for them just to keep my egg flow coming in.

Yes, Judy, you and Vince are very blessed to have Ruby and the girls hard at work producing beautiful hen-fruit for you. The girls should also be thankful of the wonderful “chicken world” you have provided for them – LOL!!!
You can do so many things with eggs – breakfast, dinner, dessert, ice cream – the possibilities are endless!!! Can’t wait till next spring and I can get some more chicks!

That is so funny you mentioned the egg recall on your website! I was thinking about mentioning on mine how much I appreciate having home grown eggs instead of having to buy them in the store, especially now! One time my stepmother turned her nose up at the offer of fresh eggs because she was afraid of them. Wonder how she feels now? hee hee hee. I don’t have chickens but a friend does and we get all our eggs from them. Hate it when we have to get them from the store because there really is no comparison at all. none, nada, zip. In fact, we will go without sometimes because we are so spoiled!
