Nothing used, nothing added . . not much regular sewing this week. I did get two of those cuddle quilts done but I hadn’t counted that fabric when I added it so I’m not counting it as used either.
Surely your stash report is more interesting than mine!
My report is not much more interesting, just a little out. I was planning on counting my cuddle kit (if I get it done). DD said she wanted a quilt for Chrismtas, I was thinking that one would be it. But after your sagga, I’m not sure I’m ready to tackle it.
Oh, Judy. You should have put your numbers up from last week, though. I like to drool over them!
I’ve been good this year and most of the quilts that I have finished have been from my stash, but you are the stash-bustin’ queen!
Not much going on at my house either – nevertheless at least I am still reporting! Thanks for hosting another stash report!
Not much more exciting….I think I am a little burned out after all the sewing at retreat. I did post a picture of the kids with their pumpkins though!
Mine wasn’t exactly exciting, just WAY behind! I hadn’t posted since May, then lost my notes with my fabric yardages some where in my sewing room and it took a while to locate them.
I am still in the black as far as using stash goes, so that is great! I agree though, you are definitely the queen of using the stash!
There hasn’t been any sewing going on here either. There has been some knitting – I added the link for the free shawl pattern I’ve been making for Christmas gifts. I’m still in the black, staying out of fabric shops is getting easier!
Happy Halloween Judy!
Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween Judy. My stash report is non exciting too. I did go shopping with a friend and bought 1 yard of a neutral fabric for a border on a quilt I’m making. So I hurried up this afternoon to make up another pillowcase for charity to balance that purchase!
My YTD fabric added is: 87.3 yds, YTD fabric used is: 75.75. Those figures are getting closer together. Oops. But I’m in the black by 11.55 yds. yeaah!
Dar in MO
I think it is amazing how little fabric actually goes into a quilt, I should have known that before buying and dyeing all that fabric!
By the way, I figured out the difference between my way of counting fabric and your way, I use square yards instead of yardage.
