Thanks everyone who noticed the mistake when I had the blocks up on the design wall last week. I had not even noticed! These were some scrappy blocks I made and had never done anything with so now they’ve been assembled into a top and will be quilted soon. The top is finished now but here it is before all the borders were added.
What’s on your design wall?

Love those colors Judy!
Love those color blocks!!
Nice & colorful DWM look! Thanks for hosting!
Beautiful colors! The black sashing really sets them off well.
This is beautiful — it looks like stained glass.
This is a very happy looking quilt!
Nice and scrappy. I love how it looks like arrows pointing!
I love the deep rich colors and the occasional black arrows ! Great quilt.
I really like the borders and sashing! It really adds to the quilt.
The quilt is great. Someone is going to be very happy to receive this! Looks like we both were corrected this week………..
I had not noticed the mistake…I had to go back and study the photo to find it! It’s a very happy looking quilt!
what a fun quilt
I like the way you put sashing only one way and sewed the blocks into columns. The colors are wonderful.
I never noticed the mistake……guess it was because I was coming down with DH’s cold. Unlike DH, I began to take some cold medication at the first signs, and I don’t feel too bad this morning.
I love the way you have set the blocks to make a very different quilt
Looks beautiful and the sashing really sets it off.
Nice design. Happy Valentine’s Day from San Diego! Sandi
What a fun top with just two simple blocks. You always make the best designs!
the black sashing makes the brights so much brighter! I love it
great quilt you have there-love the sashing fabric!
Great idea for setting these blocks. I have mine finished but it isn’t quite big enough and I was toying with the idea of some type of sashing. I love it and think this is how I am going to set the blocks I made with this pattern. Thanks, Judy!
I love how bright and happy this is! All the borders??? Can’t wait to see this one finished!
yep those black borders really set this quilt off! nice job!
The black sashing really makes the color of the blocks pop out. And the pattern is eye candy. GREAT JOB!
Cute, nice & bright! Happy Valentine’s Day!
I am amazed at the chilly snowy weather you’re having. We are chilly again out here in So Cal. Pretty quilt on the design board.
I am loving the effect of the black with your blocks. I think a bolt of black fabric is going to have to go on my want-to-have list. Thanks for hosting this, and the UFO challenge.
That quilt looks so good Judy! Love all the colors together. Glad to see the Gumbo disaster turned out ok.
Kind of a stained glass look — I like it! Happy Valentine’s Day, Judy!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Very pretty quilt, love all the warm and bright colors.
Always great to get input from others on our design walls!
Judy, can you eliminate my #68. I linked it to the Stash Report, not Design Wall. I am enjoying all the personal ‘challenges’ you are encouraging me to do this year. Thank you!! Still not sure about the weaving class. Trying to justify it! lol
Love the colors you used! And the black! That touch really makes the colors look richer.
love it!

Totally spaced this morning–forgot to post for DWM!! I had the link all ready too. Cheeeze!
Love it! I’ve made one already with this pattern and it was so easy and so scrap friendly. It was only 30″ square but I think I’ll make a bigger one now.
Thanks for the pattern, Judy!
Like the dark color you added – a restful place among all those great bright colors.
I really like the black accent color and the chance to see what so many people are doing all at once – cool link!! I’m currently working on the Civil War Chronicles BOM and also the “Quilter’s Academy” series by Harriet and Carrie Hargrave. I’d love it if you stopped by my blog for an awesome Valentine’s quick project!
Beautiful! Wish I had a design wall…
Oooohh… I love this one Judy!
That is a lovely looking quilt!, it looks a good quick quilt project.
Your block looks so creative. If you place a small white border around the block then it will look much better. Have an experiment buddy. It looks like a collage work, just some colored piece of papers glued with each other.
Good idea of white border.
