Making Ends Meet – Instructions #4

Fabric 1 – Cut 5 – 2-1/2″ strips.  Cut them into 72 – 2-1/2″ squares.  Sew the squares to each end of the units previously made.

Make 4.

Make 32.

Complete the blocks as follows.  Press all seam allowances towards the nine patch.

Make 4.  These are for the corners.

Make 6.  These are for the perimeter edges.

Make 8.  These go into the middle of the quilt.

Making Ends Meet – Instructions #3

Fabric 1 – Cut 1 – 2-1/2″ strip.  Cut it into 14 – 2-1/2″ squares.
Fabric 2 – Cut 4 – 2-1/2″ strips.  Cut into 58 – 2-1/2″ squares.

Sew a 2-1/2″ Fabric 1 square between two half square triangles as shown.  Make 14.  Press seam allowances towards center square.

Sew a 2-1/2″ Fabric 2 square between two half square triangles as shown.  Make 58.  Press seam allowances towards center square.

Sew the units to opposite sides of the nine patches.

Make 10 centers as shown below.  Press seam allowances towards the nine patch.

Make 8 centers as shown below.  Press the seam allowances towards the nine patch.
