Happy April 1. Don’t let anyone fool you!
The UFO to be worked on this month is . . #4. That’s funny . . April is the 4th month and we’re working on our #4 UFO.
If you finished your March UFO and want to share a link to it, you can do that below!

Love your UFO challenge – April fool or not! Got to check out my #4 for this month – thanks to your help we’ll be reducing the world’s UFO (quilt) pile
Thanks Judy – I can’t wait to go look at my list so I know which one is #4….thank you for this CHALLENGE….it is really helping me to keep motivated!

No, I did not finish my March Project. The top was completed in January:

And got on the frame in March:

However, it is only about 1/4 quilted. For April you have chosen for me (and thank you very much!) one of those Hawaiian pillow kits that everyone buys while they are in Hawaii. This must be close to ten years ago…..
However, I still have completed 3 UFOs in 3 months because I did an extra last month! Thanks for the challenge. Since I am still at 3/3 I consider myself to be passing the test–even though it’s not the 3 you chose!

My UFO #1 was a block swap from 2008 2009. It feels great to have it sewn together. Now on to #4. Thanks for the motivation.
Thanks, Judy! I love the new link that shows all of the work!
April – my new niece, born in February, is going to have her baby quilt finished this month! That is close to a record for me. It has been sandwiched and the quilting started, so I think I will get a good garden going this month! Lots of free time! Unlike March a busy month to begin with, and at least 30 hours went into piecing that top. Thanks Judy! I love the thumbnail capability too.

So proud of all the finishers – mine didn’t even make it out to work on due to my 1st quarter UFO (also due at the end of March)consuming all my time…don’t worry though, I will be back on the UFO bandwagon this month! The one you picked is machine quilting for me, so hopefully I will get it done and the Feb one that is half quilted!
Oh man! Another BOM for me… I haven’t even started on March’s and only got block parts finished for February… Maybe I can bypass the house cleaning and get caught up! lol
Oh, the dreaded Lone Star quilt. But that’s what this UFO challenge is all about, right? Thanks for the motivation and a chance to see what others are working on, even if it is making my list of quilts I want to make longer.
Thanks for hosting this.
Got my March UFO finished and it’s at the quilter now. April is a snowball nearly king size that justed need the simple appliqued borders done. Why, oh why, do we procrastinate? This challenge has helped so much. Thanks Judy.
My #4 is one I am eager to work on–9 patch blocks from a swap in a quilt design I modified. And all in CW repros! Love it.
I am excited about the next project. I just finished the Michael Miller Panel for the Christmas Tree Fairy. Now the next project is the Autumn Fairy from the same fabric line. Now to find all the coordinating fabrics for that panel and have some fun. This is one I’ve really been wanting to do, so I’m glad it was chosen.
#4 is probably the one quilt I didn’t want to do this month because I have to THINK about the quilting. It’s a double Irish Chain pieced by my Mom for me years ago and I’ve been waiting to get good enough to quilt it!
I am so thankful for this UFO Challenge. It really motivates me to complete some of my own projects. March was 2008 BOM for The Quilt Show. I am so excited to have it finished. For April #4 has 2 projects listed. One just needs quilted and bound, and the other is a small top from a class that needs some finishing touches. Thanks Judy for the motivation!
I’ve said it before and I have to say it again… I just LOVE how you can see the little thumbnail of each photo! I have lots of blogs to visit. Thank you for organizing this. Cheers! Evelyn
I feel left out – I don’t have any UFO’s
Oh, I guess that’s a good thing…….
I didn’t get anything finished in March, but I made LOTS of progress. I count that as a win!
I didn’t get all the way through quilting, but I did get the UFO top put together before I had to get something else started (babies don’t wait just because I procrastinate!). Thanks for the challenge tho’ – it gets me moving!
I’m blown away by the great quilts and UFOs that everyone is doing. Mine are not big, but I am happy that I can get a few things done each month.
Thanks Judy for putting this together so people like me, way down here is Australia, can participate!
Wow, Look at all you girls go… I’m still in a slump for sewing, no will power
More or less that is everything in my life. Maybe today is the day, I just woke up after 14 hours of sleep, for the last 3 months 3-4 hours had been the most.
I might be able to finish #4 it is further along than most
Looky, looky! Can you believe it! This finish was good for my self esteem. http://swooze.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-ufo-done-already-woohoo-i-got.html
