Hope everyone has a great July 4!
About that design wall . . mine is going to be pretty boring for the next few months I’m afraid. Today is a piece of a block and I worked hard to get this far on it just to have something to show. I’m not even sure where I’m headed with this quilt but I have a couple of ideas.

Now that’s one interesting block! I can’t wait to see what you do with this one!
It always amazes me how quilts start with one little block – its such a humble beginning – hours later – a pile of scraps, several cups of tea, a few blog posts – and you got a quilt. Can’t wait to see where this is going! Interesting!!!
My design wall is the same as last week, as I am playing with different ways of putting together the blocks I won on Block Lotto. I love the colour and design of your new block Judy.. look forward to seeing it finished as a king size quilt !!
I bet you will get some interesting secondary patterns with that block.
Happy Fourth!
I’ll be interested to see what that block finds its way into. I seem to recall you were trying to FINISH 9 quilts before you left MO, and I was thinking they all involved just the quilting and binding. So I’m guessing you’ve started a new project. Good to know you fall into that, too
Happy Independence Day to you and yours, Judy!
Looks intiguing, Judy.
Happy 4th!
Quilters are great – I was thinking that there wouldn’t be many design wall posts since it was the 4th – but we continue to be passionate about our quilting in the midst of our celebrations!
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

I really like that block! My husband does also he said it reminds him of pistons. At least I think that was what he said it was some motor part. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
