December UFO

December 1, 2011

The project to finish this month is #12 on your list and that brings the 2011 UFO Challenge to a close!  Be getting your list ready for next year.  Just like this year, a number will be drawn and that will be the UFO we finish (or try to finish) that month.  We can all get 12 UFOs finished in 2012.  No UFOs?  Don’t even tell us about it!  :)

My #12 project is the 2nd Bears in the Farmhouse top and it wouldn’t take more than 2 hours for me to get the top finished.  I can do that.  Will I get it quilted this year?  Who knows!

Did you finish your November project?  I did not but I still might.

I’m going to have to pass on the December UFO, due to Christmas plans. But I’m getting set for 2012 (and I know which one is first on the list :)

Are you going to post a linky for our November UFOs?

Nevermind. The linky loaded as I posted the question. Off to browse some finishes.

I am working on my 2012 list and really looking forward to another “fabulously finished” year of UFO’s. Thank you so much for this challenge – and some months it was a challenge – but I actually looked forward to each month with much enthusiasm. I had 14 items listed and I really do think I can complete the last two to complete the year – number 12 and 14. Off to work on the list. Judy C

This challenge was fun. I listed 13 UFOs and have finished 9. I don’t know if I will get any more done before the end of the year but I am pleased with my progress. And, no I did not finish the November UFO – I don’t know where the month went.

Another finish! Yay! Thank you AGAIN for motivating me to get these done. I’m thinking about my list for next year, but I think it may require a large mess to be made in my sewing room as I find everything – this year’s UFOs were closer to the top, next year’s are buried deeper and much further from finishing…uh oh!

I didn’t even attempt my #3 UFO for November. Probably won’t get a chance to get to #12 either. So, that means I only accomplished 2 finishes from the UFOs from 2011! I think I might have to work a little harder at this… I also think I added more UFOs than I finished. Next year I am going to be better… hopefully :o )

The challenge has been awesome motivation! I’ve had to do some major catching up here at the end, but I might just make it. I’ll have to complete three more projects in December, but two are smallish ones, so it’s possible! And if not, there’s always next year. lol Thanks, Judy!

I’m like Sarah in that I did not get very many of my UFO’s finished in 2011. I DO plan to get more done in 2012. Judy, thanks for hosting this. I need to have a blog so I can post pictures of my finishes! That might be a good motivator too. :) My UFO list is posted on my sewing room wall and at least I did not add to it this year! Dar

I’m afraid I let my UFO progress go on the back burner. But I’m ready to commit for 2012 and give it healthy try. I will say that I finished three quilts this year that I might not have otherwise without this challenge. So I say that’s a win!
