Sharing the Good Life
Really . . it’s ok to feed the animals at my house.
As soon as dad heard there had been turkeys in the yard, he wanted to got some feed to put out.
He spread it everywhere he thought it needed to be.
Then it was time to sit back and wait and see what happened. It wasn’t long before we had four deer, then we had seven deer and I don’t know how many we ended up seeing out there eating the corn. Dad really wanted to see the turkeys but they didn’t come back while he was here.
Finally, it’s time to choose the color for the sewing room. The painters presented me with my color choices.
I wanted to just hand it back to them and say “Yes!” because the more I looked, the more I didn’t know what color I wanted. Dark colors were out but ever light color I saw . . I wanted. When Vince got home, I asked him to help me choose and he kept going to the peachy colors and I knew I didn’t want that. I was real tempted to go with a limey greenish gold but ended up with my original choice of yellow.
Newborn is the choice. I wanted a color that’s happy and makes me smile and a sunny, lemony yellow will be perfect!
