February Socks

Thank goodness I got three pairs of socks finished in January or I’d be behind already! Even having an extra day in February didn’t help me.

The pattern for these socks is the Celtic Twist Cable pattern and it just isn’t a pattern I should have tried when my middle finger on my right hand had 6 or 7 stitches.  The yarn is Lorna’s Laces and it’s a narrower yarn than most so it took forever.  My tension is off and I need to sit down for a few nights and persevere through it and get these finished.  They were intended to be a gift but that’s not going to happen.

The next ones I start will be for the gift but I’m not starting them til I get the blue socks finished!  Maybe I need some kind of blog reporting to keep me accountable with my knitting.

March Color Palette

What do you think?  For me, it’s challenging but I think I can come up with a plan. Will you do it?  Remember, it’s supposed to be a challenge and get us out of our comfort zone!  Don’t forget to check out Vicki’s excellent color lessons on Fridays!

If you made something inspired by the February palette, please share a link below.  On Saturday I will draw a name for the winner of Vicki’s fat quarter pack.
