Texas Tourism Post

Yesterday some of you saw the Texas Tourism post.  Mine was “A Tourist in San Angelo“.  Last night, due to some issues with the promotion, we were all asked to take those posts down so I did.  Thanks Doris for noticing my post had disappeared!  She called me to see if I was having blog issues so I explained to her what had happened.

The posts are now back up and any comments you left yesterday are there.  If you haven’t left a comment to be entered in a drawing for a $100 gift card, please visit my blog, and leave a comment.  The “Discover Texas” link at the bottom of my blog post still appears to not be working but that’s something for someone else to figure out . . that’s not my link.

May Color Palette Quilt

Don’t forget to add your link for you April Color Palette project to yesterday’s post.  Tomorrow I will draw for a winner of Vicki’s fat quarter packet of hand dyed fabrics.

The fabric I’ll be using for the May palette are the Shade Cascade fabrics from Blank.  I’m not sure they make those any more but I have some and even though it almost feels like cheating to using them, that’s what I’m using.

I love the colors and want something real basic for this palette so I think I’m going to do this.  And, because it’s so simple, I’ll do it as a quilt along if anyone wants to do something similar with me.

As shown, it’s 68″ x 76″ finished.  The name of it is going to be Sweet Treat.  Easy, easy!  Grab your fabrics and let’s get started on Friday!
