Nicole made her decision as to which quilt she wanted before I ever posted the pictures on the blog. I sent them to her and almost immediately, she wrote me that she liked #1 best.
I told her that we could change the colors, and or not add borders. She loves the colors just as they are and we both thought it needed borders. Orange is her favorite color so, I made the wider plain border orange. The outer brown edge is the binding.
There you go . . you know what I’ll be working on for the next few weeks. I’m headed over to the sewing room now to pull some fabrics.

It will be gorgeous.
Good choice!
love it with or without the borders…
LOVE IT!

Great choice. I love the colors too. Will you be sharing the pattern with us?
I also wondered if you’d be sharing the pattern
They were all lovely choices, but #1 was awesome. They will love their quilt.
Well I liked it without borders but I like it even better with borders! good job and good choice.
Good decision
Just changed my name to Nicole! Loved them all, but that was probably my favorite as well. did you get my chicken pictures from PA? Not sure why this is coming thru in Italics-I haven’t changed anything!
Guess that was showing that way before posting!!!!!
That one was my favourite, too. I didn’t post when you asked because you had over a hundred opinions before I looked at the post!
It looks absolutely fabulous!! I’m looking forward to seeing your fabric choices and then watching as it comes together.
I love the borders. Nichole will love it!
Love the addition of the border
I am so glad she picked that one. I’m sure it will work up beautifully!!
Amazing how Bear’s Paw looks when same color is used in the paws.
Does the other stepping stones block have a name in EQ. I know that you use it frequently. It is a good complimentary block.
Looking good. Nicole is lucky to have you and vice versa.
Have fun with it.
Oh that is going to be magnificent! Reminds me of a fiesta – gorgeous – looking forward to seeing your progress!
I liked that option the best too! Can’t wait to see the fabric version.
I too thought it was great w/o the border but I think it’s even better with the border ~ especially the orange border!Good choice of quilt, Nicole! Judy, I will be eager to see the completed quilt w/ your fabric selections! Thx for sharing!

Exactly what I had in mind with last nights post!! Now it looks “finished”.
that was my favorite too.Happy sewing and I follow your progress!
That was my favorite too! Nicole has good taste
Oh, it’s beautiful! I’m not surprised that she liked it at all. I’m catching up on reading so now I’ll go back to the fabrics and take another look now that I know what they are for.And it would be very nice to get my fabrics all organized so I can pull from it for projects as you do. Once my sewing room gets built the real work will begin!
I love it. I loved it before the borders but I knew that with your talent with borders if you added them it would really be special. What a lovely quilt that will be for Nicole the lucky girl!
