Don’t make these difficult please. Don’t overthink it . . just try to answer correctly. There’s no right or wrong answer.
If you had to give up either TV or internet, which one would you choose to give up and why? If you’re giving up the internet . . you’re giving it up completely — no webtv (do they still have that?), no smart phone, no iPad . . no internet means no internet! Same with tv . . if you give up tv, that means no Netflix, no watching DVD’s, no streaming from the computer . . no tv means nothing that is even remotely connected with the tv!
I’m difficult, huh?

TV I would give up TV…
Uh oh. Sounds like a good blog post will follow this poll! I could live without TV. Oh, how I hate that thing! Its on all hours at our house between the teenagers and my husband. Maybe they should come live at your house!
I would happily give up TV. I hate the commercials. My TV is on mute 80% of the time, and then I forget to turn the sound back on when the commercials end. Debbie in WV
I would give up TV. I could still get local, national, and world news on the internet, and I can’t think of any TV show that I can’t live without.
That’s easy–I could give up TV with no problem. I don’t even know how to turn on the TV in the living room or bedroom. I do know how to turn on the one in the sewing room, but I usually don’t. Does this mean that I can’t use my exercise DVDs? I could give that up too, it if makes you happy!
TV. In fact, I have already given it up! Moved out the TV when we started remodeling the family room in July. Haven’t moved it back. Dont miss it!
We gave up TV about a year ago when I lost my job to save money. No on in this house could live without internet! We do occasionally rent a movie or something though.
I would give up TV. I hardly watch it anymore anyway, so I’d never miss it. But I would get a lot more done if we didn’t have the internet!
If I gave up TV could I still watch Young and the Restless on the computer? **smile**
I already gave up TV. I watch Netflix via the Internet. Nothing but crap on anyway. I don’t miss it.
Looks like I agree with everyone else, I would give up TV. Not much on TV that I like. This was pretty easy to answer, a hard question would quilting or knitting.lol
TV for sure.
Keryn and I have given up Tv already. When Australia changed to a digital signal- I think it was 18 months ago, or it could even be longer- we never bothered to update our sets. I have not missed a thing and when I do see it at friend’s places I’m appalled by the rubbish that’s on. An occasional DVD is fine, but I don’t even really bother with that either. However, the computer is turned on first thing in the morning and I use the net at odd times all during the day. I’d hate to be without it, but I’d sure get a whole lot more done if I rationed my time on line!
Oh, this is easy for me –I could definitely give up TV. I don’t think I could live without the Internet and reading the different quilting blogs and groups. About the only thing I watch on TV now-a-days is the news and most of it is worthless.
No hesitation or question. I’d give up TV in a heartbeat. I’d be absolutely lost without internet.
TV for sure.
Seems like a concensous. I gave up cable tv for Lent 5 years ago; never got it back. For some reason I do not get local stations either. Now i do watch netflix, but am listening to and watching more audio & video blogs on my iphone. I use my phone for EVERYTHING…. Including keeping up with your blog!
The ones that would answer differently are obviously watching tv.
I should have said “who” instead of “that.” Sorry!
that’s an easy one – I’d give up TV. I work online, so I can’t give up internet anyhow
Interesting question! I’d much prefer to give up TV. Although I watch it when I knit (sometimes), I could easily listen to books on tape instead.
Would give up the TV – the internet is my connection to family, friends, quilting ideas, shopping, news articles, etc… the TV/livestreaming/Netflix is all just “filler” for me. I’ve already cut the cable…
Give up TV, I am so used to my phone now
TV……it’s a ‘no brainer’!!!! Ours is on a music only channel almost 24/7 (instrumentals….no vocals)
I didn’t even have to think about it – I would give up TV and keep the internet!’
I am curious as to why you asked? Just for fun?
sao in Midlothian, VA
I’d give up TV. The only reason we’re paying for satellite is so my DH can sit in front of it and sleep. The occasional DVD played on the computer or watching a couple shows I like on the computer would more than suffice.
tv, no contest
I have to say this is hard for me. I LOVE many TV shows, like Revenge, Project Runway, Blue Bloods, Scandal, etc. My DVR records them all for me and then I watch at my convenience. BUT, I could not give up the internet, so I guess it would have to be TV. Thankfully I don’t have to make that choice.
As with everyone else, it would also be tv for me. there is diddly squat on anymore that is worth watching!
I would give up TV. I watch NCIS on Tuesdays and that is the only time I watch TV. So it would not really be a big deal to give up TV.
Already made the choice…. we gave up TV many years ago. Hubby still watches movies occasionally, but I don’t.
Hmmm, seems TV is winning, or is that losing? I’d vote TV also even though I’m the one who turns it on and has it on almost all day long even if I’m not watching every minute of it. I know some of the shows can be watched on the computer, as can DVDs, so does that go out with the TV too?
TV. I have already deactivated two of our three TVs. I spend too much free time in front of the last one that if i sewed instead of watch tv, i would get more done. I coulnt live without my internet though… between email, facebook, and pandora,i have one of my three devices on sonmething at all times. I am on my tablet now…
TV would be the first to go. We almost never watch it, except for something the kids rarely need to watch for school and that can be seen on a website online. Usually I’m too busy to fuss with TV anyway. For instance, I have to go make applesauce tonight. No time to watch TV that would bore me stiff anyway.
That’s easy, I’d give up TV. I’ve even done it! I am an avid reader and have plenty of hobbies to keep me happy. I would definitely have problems giving up the internet though. I love reading blogs, I stay in touch with family and friends via email and social networking, and I conduct a lot of my business affairs online. I’d hate to go back to snail mail for everything.
TV definitely, because I always have books to read! I wouldn’t want to give up the internet with all of it’s social connections. We got rid of our TV a long time ago and boy do I get a lot accomplished now!
OK, I’ll admit it: I love TV. I can always find something that interests me.. I tape (yes, with a VCR) shows to watch later, too. But if I had to choose, I would keep the Internet. My youngest would sorely miss ESPN, though!
Yep, me too. Tv.
You are one tough cookie! I love movies, but I would give up TV. Actually, I did without TV for almost three years, but I did watch an occasional DVD. The internet is how I keep in touch with friends and look up vital information I need to know. I couldn’t do without it.
TV … Even here at the bottom of the world tv is about as what it seems to be elsewhere
I love my television but would have to give that up because I am a medical transcriptionist and would be out of work without the internet.
I’d give up TV altho I’d miss PBS and DVDs. I like being able to communicate with others via the internet.
I’d give up the TV – although it would save me more money to give up the internet. But I do like the internet for all the grandkid pictures I can enjoy – they all live too far away.
Since I’m sitting here with the TV off and the computer in my lap, I think it’s safe to say I’d give up TV!
TV === wouldn’t be a problem ti give it up.
Tv – no question!
Don’t want to but screaming and kicking, I would give up TV.
I only watch tv to keep my DH company, occasionally.. He wakes up much later than me and turns the tv on in the bedroom. I have never turned that one on or off. The first thing he does upon arising is turn on his 55 inch (new) tv in the living area. It is on all day. Next he turns on his computer then sits down infront of the tv with one of our ipads. The only shows I really want to watch are the CMAS..stuff dealing with country music. I do turn on the kitchen tv 4 or 5 times a month to watch HGTV or the Food network. I am busy, so don’t really watch much. However, this week with the hurricane and one brother in the path I punched in the weather channel and found I no longer get it. Went to the computer for that info. I love my quilting groups on the internet and following many blogs(yours is the first I check every morning). I am not a movie watcher…I read all the time. So, other than the World Series because the Giants were playing, I watch little tv. It could go. But, my DH could not live without his TV or his new computer.
Yes, the tv could go but it would probably end in divorce. I am not willing to do that and he would not give up either. Or any or his technology gadgets.
Question for you, would you give up your DSM, longarm or knitting? Think of it that way. I can do without but I know he can’t. TV is his addiction, reading is mine. He reads very seldom (books). It is a give and take, compromising situation. It upsets him if I don’t join him for a few nights to watch some of “his” shows. He controls the remote and I often soon fall asleep as I get up so early.
Good question. But in every marriage, there has to be compromise and acceptance. I am not ready to give him up over tv or the internet. But, tv could go in a minute.
Enough said.
Marilyn
T.V.!!!
I don’t watch tv any more — would much rather listen to a MBI radio station that is local.
i’ll give up the TV in a minute but i’ll fight till the death for the internet. hahahahahaha
No TV, handsdown. I bet we do not turn ours on more than once every 2 weeks and then for only a hour or so and it goes off again.
I would give up the TV. Most of the time we have on sports or old sitcoms. I need the internet for working from home. Most of the time the TV is on just to make noise. I would rather listen to music or mother nature during mild weather.
It would probably have to be TV. Don’t watch much except national geographic and the Blaze. A couple quilting shows on Saturday. Radio is on a lot here. Can get about anything else on computer. Can always toss in a CD in the computer too.
Probably internet. It takes huge amounts of time I could be using more usefully on other things. I’ve already given up TV service and just use Roku for streaming Neflix and Pandora. I’m usually doing something elwe when it’s on, though.
Turn off the TV. When we travel, I miss the computer, so we make sure the laptop goes along.
I could give up the tv. It may be on in my sewing room (food) channel. My husband is a different story. I am a football widow in fall and winter. I go sew when football is on.
I”d give up TV first. How would I read your blog without internet
Seriously, though, internet is how I stay in touch with family, friends, and world events (newspaper-type sites, not TV). I’ll give up all videos and still keep my internet and toss the TV
In a heart beat I would give up the tv…. but not my internet!
Easy question. TV!
I use the internet for my job. But if I did not need it I would prefer to give up the internet over the television. I like watching tv.
TV – always on the Internet … Only have the TV on for sound.
We aren’t sports fans so any television we would watch, we can watch on the internet. I did give up satellite tv and kepet the internet.
I would give up the TV….I’d miss the noise but it would be OK.
I really would hate to lose the internet.
It’s tough. If I HAD to, I’d give up TV. But I’d be kicking and screaming!!
We’ve been without TV for 10+ years and have never missed it. Now I don’t think I could do without the internet.
That was a consensus!!! I wonder if the TV moguls know this?!
TV… We gave it up at the digital transfer, and I don’t miss it very often.
TV would not be missed as much as the Internet!
I would give up T.V. I would watch Fox News & local news
online.
I haven’t had a TV in my house since 1993, so the decision is quite easy…TV for sure.
TV definitely. The only time I’d really miss it is when the Olympics are on. DH and one kid watch stuff on Netflix, but I rarely do – could give it up easily. I get my news from the radio or newspaper.
TV-so much of it is not worth watching anyway. My daughter’s family gave up their cable TV last spring and the kids hardly miss it. They have Netflics (sp?) for vidoes they want to watch and the kids can watch many of their favorite shows on-line. We record Disney Channel programs for them to watch when they come over here, but they could live without those too.
TV cause I can watch what I want on my computer or from Net flix
I’d give up TV all the way! I have it turned on most of the time, but don’t watch it much, it’s mainly for background noise. I need to learn to listen to music instead!
Didn’t have to think two seconds about it……definitely would give up TV..
I’d give up the television because whatever the TV offers can be found on the internet for the most part.
I would give up neither of them……at our home, TV and Internet is part of out entertainment $$$. We go don’t go out often, so watching a show or renting a movie is entertaining for us, so I would give up neither of them. And just for the record, I stopped watching daytime tv in 1992 and I haven’t missed it. This summer when I was laid up and couldn’t do anything I watched it and after 2 weeks I shut it off during the day.
TV! Now why?
i would give up the t v don’t watch it much any way
Count me in with the rest, I’d give up the TV (but my DH wouldn’t). I don’t watch it much as it is, and the few programs I do enjoy I can watch on the Internet. I’ve only had Internet service for 3 or 4 years and I’m hooked . Love having information, and entertainment at my finger tips any time of day or night.. It seems TV has become more ads than programming so it ‘s hard to hold my interest through an entire program. Sometimes the commercial breaks are so long, I’ forget the plot and then I think, “who cares?” and I turn the TV off. I’d rather read for entertainment–no commercials, no interruptions, no sticking to a network’s schedule, and no political ads!
Oh, MY! I was going to say that, after consideration, I couldn’t give up either, they are that much a part of our lives. But after reading the answers others have given, heavily in favor of giving up TV, I now think I’m a hopeless case! TV is our evening enjoyment and we LOVE a LOT of what’s on. * sigh*
My family never watched TV when the kids were growing up. So it would be the easy choice. I don’t think I would give up the internet because it is my communication link with a lot of people who have forgotten how to write old fashioned letters. I also enjoy reading, so that would suffice for entertainment
Pfft, too easy to answer. I’d give up the TV in a nanosecond. We already don’t have TV service (it WAS a choice between the TV or the internet, our cable line was too weak to handle both) and we’re going to give up Netflix as soon as my husband’s film class is over in December.
I’m in the toss TV camp. I’d hate to lose the internet because of keeping in touch with friends and blogging inspirations. Also, as others have mentioned, some TV shows can be watched from the computer, though I’ve never done that.
My DH would give up the internet and not TV though.
oops – to clarify:
The internet, I believe, is a network connecting other networks (the computer world) together. The WWW is where we obtain our information. My sons are trying to explain it to me as I type. :0) They think they know everything! Anyway, they have informed me that my choice should be that I would give up the TV and keep the WWW. I argued that the internet wouldn’t be the internet without the WWW, but they informed me that there are other models than the WWW that would provide the same purpose. Go figure! They are still in high school and think they know everything!. I just thought that I would share.
The few things that we watch on TV, other than FOX news, are not requisites for today’s life. We already “read” the FOX website, so no TV loss there.
So my vote still stands that I (we) would give up the TV, and I (we) would keep the information source, the WWW.
:0)
TV. Not even a question in my mind.
my tv serves as a large monitor. we use it for video gaming, dvd’s and netflix. we have not had cable/sattellite service for nearly 4 years and do not miss it much. we have always been HUGE big brother fans so we have taken up with going to my daughters house to watch that…..everything else we watch on the computer–quite often hooking up the laptop to the large tv
I could easily give up TV. I hardly ever watch it and haven’t rented a movie in years, and don’t have netflix. My husband is the only reason we have a TV, he watches sports, and lots of things on PBS.
The internet is my connection to the world. I don’t get around very well and am pretty much housebound and without it, I would be pretty isolated. So I’d have to give up TV, but I would keep Netflix so I could watch movies. I love movies. They’re my guilty pleasure!!
TV. Several years ago we moved our TV into the basement. We rarely watch it, and when we do, (such as for a debate or news coverage of Sandy) we’re surprised at how loud it is, how many commercials there are, and how many people talk over each other! We don’t miss it. We use the time to read, play games together, quilt, build things, and think!
TV. I learn so much and stay connected on internet.
We gave up TV a couple years ago. We didn’t watch it much and certainly weren’t getting our monies worth. Haven’t missed it.
I couldn’t give up either, so I’m not answering. LOL!
Definitely I’d give up TV…essential have already done that…we watch one video a week…maybe…internet on the other hand is always being used!
I would be thrilled to give up TV. I watch very little of it and watch no movies on the internet but read a lot of news and blogs that make me happy like yours.
Giving up TV. It’s a no brainer for me.
Megan
Sydney, Australia
Wow…who would have guessed…several years ago the TV was the center of the home….Now it’s the computer!! Yes I would give up the TV. The only thing I would miss qould be Baseball…but you can see all these things on the web. We have thought of getting rid of it… If the price of satellite keeps soaring it might be a no brainer. I listen to the radio in the daytime….and frequently check things online..You can get pretty much everything you need on line, Have to say TV
So Judy….why did you ask????
Would happily give up the internet. Not that I’m all that crazy about television…
I’d happily give up TV – I barely watch it now – if it’s on it’s because dh is home, the kids left it on, or I put it on for background noise (usually not needed because of the 4 kids at home that usually leave it on when they leave a room)
I love being able to stay in touch with my friends with internet. With this storm, and no power – my smart phone was a great source of information, letting me know who had power, who didn’t (us), which roads were open, what to expect …. even where I could buy gas. There is nothing that the TV can help me with that the internet can’t.
TV-no question in my mind. The internet is my connection to all the creative people out there. It’s my source of information and it connects me with my friends. I quilt to Pandora sound tracks. I barely watch TV and wouldn’t miss it.
We gave up TV aver a year ago. You can find almost all the programs online. If you wait til the day after a program airs, you can usually go to it’s TV station and watch it. We both use the Internet continuously.
If I gave up the Internet, I wouldn’t know what was taking place in your chicken coop! I love being out here at the end of the dirt road. The Internet is my connection to the outside world and I could very easily live without the TV.
I’d give up TV. Too me it would be the difference in given up chatting with my friends to watch fifty million idiot commercials. Really not much of a choice there. I do like chatting!!!!!
Hugs!!!
Tv definitely.
I’d give up the TV. I use the internet for research, keeping up with the outside world, and connecting with friends. I have so many other things to occupy my time that the TV is not important. I prefer to spend that time with family or reading or quilting.
It would have to be TV but not willingly. I enjoy watching when I’m doing needlepoint or knitting. The internet would have to stay.
Since both my sons are in TV production I can’t give that up. And since I can’t live without my iPad I can’t give up Internet. I seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place! LOL
Right now, I don’t have much choice. We pretty much gave up the internet as all that is available is AT&T hotspot which is mighty expensive. I’ve been watching TV a lot these days while unpacking and putting fabrics onto “bolts.
TeeVee!!!! LOL My husband would be hard pressed tho if he had to give up his FOX News Channel.
Absolutely internet. I like to watch/listen to a movie sometimes when I’m sewing. Mostly I listen to music on the radio……if I want the sound of something other than myself and the sewing machine.
it would be TV wouldn’t have it now except when we signed up it was 8 dollars cheaper if we took the basic. didn’t have a TV for 3 months but then the kids moved home…the rest is history
Easy, peasy…..I am giving up TV. I can watch a show, including live news broadcasts, on my laptop.
Even though I like watching some TV, it would be the one to go, if I were the only one in the house. Hubby, however, would not do well without the TV. I, on the other hand, would not do well without the internet. I guess if we were having to choose we would have to separate since our choice would be different.
This one’s a no-brainer for me. I’d give up TV! Anything I watch on TV is available online at some point, so I don’t need it. And the house is soooooo much nicer when the TV’s turned OFF.
I would give up TV, because I’d rather be connected with people via Facebook, blogs, etc. than with a box that may be entertaining but can’t chat with me.
I sure hope television personalities do not depend your readers for their jobs! LOL
I have never watched much television, but now that I no longer have children if my husband didn’t turn it on it would never get turned on. Ray left town for 9 days and it was never turned on the whole time. I check the weather on my phone, the news headlines the same way. I listen to the radio and listen to audibooks when sewing and cooking.
If and when I control the remote and watch any television it is old movies or Disney DVDs.
So long Television….especially now with all the political ads…YUCK!!
TV. I can’t function without the internet.
You know I must be difficult – I refuse to give up either. LOL I like watching movies and the PBS shows while I’m knitting or quilting. Regular network shows – those I can do without and don’t watch. If I had to pay for it – well then I”d just have to get by on my video/dvd collection to keep me entertained since I do refuse ot pay for tv service of any kind.
I would give up the tv happily. I can’t give up the internet, all my college courses are online, as well as my son’s. My other kids would hate me, but the tv would go!
TV it would be, for sure. I usually have the TV on mute even when it IS on! I could not be one of those who watches TV or movies while sewing as I am a terrible channel surfer and/or get sucked in to the visual, so no TV in my sewing area ever.
TV, not a problem, haven’t watched since my hubby died 27 years ago, admit to loving NCIS, and have those DVDS.
I’m going against the grain of most folks… I’d give up the internet in a heartbeat before I’d give up TV. When I’m watching TV, I very often am doing something else. When I’m online, I’m usually only online. Plus I really enjoy some TV shows..
Keep the internet, need it for work and much of whats on tv can be found online. But Id be sorry to lose the DVD player, like getting movies from the library. And the computer doesnt let you sew while watching like the DVD does, so its a hard toss up. But I prefer to stay connected to all the peoples whos blogs I follow. So Internet wins!
When I read your question, it was a no brainer for me too. But a no brainer to give up the internet, not TV! (I was surprised that the consensus went the other way.) I waste so much time on the internet, when I could be doing other things. When I watch TV, I’m usually always doing something else and most often spending time with my husband. If I didn’t have the internet to connect to people, I’d have to actually pick up the phone and have real conversations with them and perhaps visit with them more. I think too much of what we do is becoming impersonal because of the internet. So for me, I’d definitely give up the internet.
I can see that I am in the minority here, but I would not want to give up either my TV or internet. My opinion will mean as much to all of you as yours does to me but I want to add my 2 cents worth. Back when I was about 11 years old, my Grandfather bought my family their first TV and I have been in favor ever since. My mother was against this TV from the start and over the next 10+ years I was at home, she would NEVER sit down and watch it. So much together time was lost because of her feelings. She was always busy with some other group or on the phone. But watching TV with my father is time I will never forget. His favorite show was Bonanza and we watched it together for years. Fast forward to a time when my husband and I have 4 children. Often in the afternoon, my husband would sit and watch the Afternoon Movie with all our kids, then when it was over- dinner was ready. I had the time to fix dinner- they had time with Dad. Memories that our children will have forever.
Now we are in the Senior catagory, we love our TV. Yes the networks have tons on trash, and cable-despite the 100′s of channels isn’t much better but if one picks and chooses there is plenty of quality TV.
If anyone has not seen the Downton Abbey series, then you are missing quality TV.
I consider “no TV” but watching shows on the internet one in the same.
I love to sew, but dont have the stamina to do it for any long periods.
My husband is a History nut and between TV and him, I have learned SO much over the years.
Yes, we are both readers and enjoy good music. As much as I love Judy and her blog, I will never undertand why you are against TV so much. If Vince goes to work everyday and he does so much around your ranch, then why should he not watch TV when he pleases. You seem to be either out in the sewing room or knitting. Hint: when my husband is watching something on TV that I don’t want to watch, I put on my headphones and listen to music while reading. BUT, we are in the same room-together. Judy, please do not take offense to my opionion. I could add more, but my 2 cents worth has run way over. Thanks for letting me tell my opinion.
I love everything Downtown. Can’t wait for season three to begin. Facebook updates are killing me slowly with the spoilers.
Cari J
The internet is what we could live without at our house. Judy I know you are going with dropping the TV. I am a TV person. The majority of the news in our house comes by way of the TV. We rent DVD’s from Redbox and have a variety of DVD’s we own from SciFi to vintage Motorcycle racing being reproduced from ”70′s footage. We also have plenty of VCR tapes. That being said and my vote…….. We use the internet for shopping, bill paying etc. and communicating with loved ones and friends daily. Sorry, but you asked me to vote for only one.
Here is an example of a non TV non internet user. My brother has owned two computers in the last 13 years along with at least 4 printers. April 2011 he finally stepped out of the Cave and plugged into the internet because he was forced to. He does not understand the concept at all. He does not have his own email address so neither me or my father (75 yr old and computer literate) or his Aunt who is almost 84 (she uses her computer everyday) has electronic communications with him. His software was never updated online and he had nothing but trouble with the his computer. This is his choice. I thought it was stupid to be so afraid to be up to date with technology. His wife went to work as a Cook at a new Hockey Arena and had to learn how to place online orders for the Hot Concession menu she was serving. His first two children managed to grow up without it until they left home. His last child struggled because he would not allow her access to the internet. She had to go to the library and pay to do her homework and apply to go to Culinary School after graduating high school. Such a Caveman! Wheels really are round! And the earth is not flat. He is 53 and as of Aug, he now carries a cell phone only because my nephew, his 31 yr old son begged him to do it. They rarely answer their home phone, it most always goes to message. They have a TV on a stand that is not plugged into electricity. They listen to BBC Radio and XM only. Frustrating for those of us in the States. None of us have his or his wife’s cell phone number.
I’ll step off my box now,
Cari Jimison
TV. When we lived in Europe there was no daytime TV, shows only came on at night and all the commercials ran in one block before the shows came on. That was great! I`d like to say internet too, but we work online.
LOL – easy peasy answer to this one! I’d give up the TV. Actually because I ALREADY gave it up! Although, yes, I DO use the screen for movies – DVD and videos. However I can use my computer for that (provided I don’t mind lip reading more – my monitor shouts at a loud whisper – and that’s with the volume at MAX!)
Mostly though – other than movies I don’t miss the TV a bit. I read a LOT! And THAT I would miss DREADFULLY! I also listen to audio books when I’m quilting! But TV???? I can scan headlines either in a newspaper or online. I don’t need nor do I want sitcoms – and most I don’t regard as really good quality anyway!
I would hate to do it, but I’d give up the ionternet. I can knit while watching tv, and the noiose is a background I can ignore if I want. I’d miss following all the folks I have met and the bloggers, quilters, and knitters too, but the internet overwhelms me a bit. I could quilt and knit for the rerst of my life on the books and such I have right now.
i’d give up t.v. definitely.
