Here’s what’s done on Nicole’s new quilt.

Lots more blocks to get done . . but it’s a good start before I put it away for another project.

Judy, these are beautiful! It really never ceases to amaze me how a simple block can be transformed just by the fabrics you choose. In this case, changing the center cross to a lighter version of the darker “paw” color really adds charm … as does setting it on point. I’m going to have to pull this up in EQ and play around with it with some batiks! Thanks for the inspiration this morning! I can’t tell from the photo — are you using batiks, or just pretty colors? What are you using for the outside neutral HSTs? 🙂

I love these blocks. This quilt will another gorgeous quilt. Setting them on point really changes their look!

I’m smitten with those blocks Judy! They have a sort of southwestern-New Mexico feel to them. I’m thinking they may be the perfect block for a border on a serape type quilt…wheels churning.

I have the exact rowenta. I got it a month ago and I love it. My previous rowenta leaked but I researched it and I always empty it out before I unplug it and leave it. I think this is supposed to help with that issue.
