Design Wall Monday – December 10, 2012

I’m thankful for every opportunity but so many of those opportunities involve keeping what I’m working on under wraps and not being able to share and then it’s so exciting when I do finally get to share but . . yesterday I finished one of those “under wraps” projects enough that I was able to start on something that I can share.

I could hardly wait to get started on Nicole’s mom’s quilt.  One block is made.  Lots more to go but it feels good to be getting started on it.  Lately I’ve been burying my instruction sheets and having to keep printing more so I pinned them up on the design wall.  If I loose them, someone please remind me that they’re on the design wall. :)

What’s on your design wall?

Love the dark blue with the yellow. It’s going to be a beautiful quilt.

A great idea to pin the instructions to the design wall!

I, too, have trouble with instruction sheets. I keep projects in plastic bins (fabric, pieced parts, etc., and am now also keeping the paperwork there. I try to only have one bin open at a time: I do move from bin to bin but take the time to pack up between moves. All that being said, ececntly I printed the instructions for a BOM block 3 times before I got it made. :-(

She will love it! That is a great color combination – pretty contrast and great design. Are you whipping that together for Christmas?!

Can you tell when Bonnie Hunter has a new mystery starting? I love all the different colors people are using and looking at the design walls really is inspiring.
