There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I would finish Margie’s quilt top yesterday and be able to count the yardage in this week’s stash report, but, it didn’t happen. I should get it finished today so for next week, I can report the top, the backing and the binding. That will put me over 200 yards in the used column for 2012 but I had wanted to net 200 yards for the year.
And, the evil little girl in me suggested that I not finish the quilt til after January 1 so I could count the yardage next year but I explained to her that I’m going to use so many yards in 2013 that it won’t matter that the yardage for Margie’s quilt got counted in 2012.

Net Used for 2012: 123.00 yards

you have given me an idea.. I count how many bobbins of
thread I sew each month then tally that.. but I am going to
try and track staah use in 2013 as I need to use stash so
after Christmas I am going to set a goal for myself..for 2013
I loved the “good” Judy/”evil” Judy fabric discussion. One that I have also had with myself. :0)
