Don’t forget that the UFO project is changing to the Get It Done Challenge in 2013. Everything we’re doing is outlined here. On the last day of each month, beginning December 31, I will post my list of four quilt related things I hope to get done during the next month. Beginning with the January 31 post, there will be a link box.
Here’s how I anticipate this will work. On December 31, post your list on your blog. Be as detailed as you’d like to be about what you’re working on, the current stage of completion, the pattern you’re using . . share anything you’d like to share. List four things. These can be as simple as you’d like or they can be as complex as you’d like. I encourage you to challenge yourself. I could say I’d like to finish one block for Nicole’s Sofa Quilt or I could say I’d like to finish all the blocks for Nicole’s Sofa Quilt. My personal preference is to push myself and even if I don’t meet the goal, if I’ve gotten more done than I would have accomplished by not setting a goal, I’m happy. But, I will do my best to meet my goals. I am the leader of this group and I have to set a good example, right? Yes . . I have to be a good example!
Then for the next month, please share with us in your blog post how you did on last month’s goals and set for new goals for the next month. Sounds pretty easy, right? That is . . the goal setting is easy . . the accomplishing might not be so easy. Together, we can accomplish a whole lot in 2013.
Ready or not, 2012 is about to end and 2013 will be here!

You are a good example! I’m looking forward to this challenge. 2013 will be The Year of the Finish! I need to get my list ready for December 31.
I hope to get one thing done, we’ll see about four! =)
This I can do so long as it doesn’t have to be a finished quilt. Long arm is in the VERY COLD upstairs so I don’t quilt in the winter at all. Now to figure out what I want done in January. Hmm……
Hugs!!!!
I love this idea! Thanks much; will be thinking this week about my four tasks/projects for January.
I like your idea, Judy. I may actually get some things done. I joined both the 2011 and 2012 UFO list challlenge but only got 4 done for both years. Maybe this way I’ll make some progress – one step (or goal) at a time.
Can I be a part of the Challenge to get it done even tho
I do not have a blog?? I read Judys daily
Whoops, a little late, but just posted my list for January
