Vince has a Facebook account but he never uses it . . never . . like maybe twice a year he posts something . . til yesterday. Here’s one of his very annoying posts from yesterday:
Really? A flowchart to decide if we’re having rational conversations?
Last night every time he said something to me, I would take my time answering and then I would explain that I was making sure my end of the conversation was rational! 
Tell me . . where does he find this stuff and isn’t there something more constructive he could be doing?

ROFLOL – and of course, I HAD to read the flow chart! Vince, FWIW – my suggestion is to NOT use this during a family “discussion”! Not unless you REALLY enjoy living on the edge! Now with my grown son…… NAH! He’d use it against ME!!!! Basically – I think MEN need the structure of something like this. WOMEN, on the other hand, intuit correctly the proper, appropriate answer and it is up to the men to agree with us!
LOL – I always say that the only reason that women talk twice as much as men, is because we always have to repeat everything. I post about as often as Vince does. I’m avoiding being plugged in any more than I already am. The funny thing about his post is that he’s probably married to the most rational woman around!

I have been following your blog for about 18 monthes but have never made a comment but could not let this topic past. My husband an d have this problem freqently and we use the family name of Chick-Fil-A for when this happens. I don’t remember the conversation that started it but anytime the other person is not making sense we say Chick-Fil-A. I say it much more than my hubby.
I think he does this stuff purposefully, to get a rise out of you. I can imagine he can be quite the imp.
Might be easier just to not talk!!
I used to teach computer programming (along with every math course from algebra to advanced placement and college calculus). It sounds like he is a frustrated programmer! Tell him that he is stuck in an infinite loop and see what reaction you get out of that one. He’s too Italian to be entirely rational!
That’s so funny! I’m sure you’re both 100% rational – ALL the time. Hey, at least he has a sense of humor. My DH is very difficult to amuse. Drives me nuts, even though we’re very happy!
