These are the bear’s paw blocks for Nicole’s New Beginnings quilt. I had hoped to get all the bear paw blocks done yesterday but, as usual, I got a bit sidetracked. I did get 5 blocks made so hopefully I can get the remaining four blocks done today. Then I’ll need to get the setting triangle blocks done and then I can make the chain blocks. No doubt, I’m being overly optimistic but I would like to get all these blocks done by the end of this week.

Those are some great blocks Judy. Laughed at Speck and the pillowcase. Writing for a hunting magazine? They must have seen Vince’s deer blind!!
I love your bear paw colors – it’s going to be a beautiful quilt for Nicole! Good luck getting it all done this week!
Beautiful blocks, rich colors, it’s going to be a gorgeous quilt.
Beautiful blocks, I have been thinking about adding more solids to quilts I make. I have seen so many lately that are made with only solids and they are beautiful! Have a wonderful day…and so glad Speck is feeling better! This morning, I myself wish I could crawl in a pillowcase and stay there..but alas work is calling!!
Those blocks are just lovely, Judy! I cannot imagine how happy Nicole will be with the finished quilt.
Oooh, love those blocks. Especially on point like that!
I love Mondays Looking at everyone’s projects is so much fun!
I am finally linked up for today. The Bear Paw blocks are looking great on your Wall. Nicole is a Lucky girl!
I love these blocks! I made bear’s paw many years ago. I like the way you have used a colored strip instead of background in the centers.
