January Report and February Goals

Is it just me or does it seem like it was way more than 31 days ago since New Year’s Day?  The good news is . . I got all four of my goals done and got one of my “hope to get done” things done.

My four things were:

  1. Margie’s top quilted, bound, labeled and mailed.
  2. Three (3) QOV tops made using the New Year’s Day Sit & Sew pattern.
  3. Section 1 of the Comfort & Joy top done.
  4. Blocks made for Nicole’s New Beginnings quilt.

1 – Margie’s quilt was done and sent to her and she loves it.

2.  Three QOV tops were done . . finished the third one tonight.  Really . . why did I count three tops as one project?

They’re folded and draped over the longarm rail.

3.   Two of the first blocks for Comfort and Joy were made.

4.  All the blocks for Nicole’s top were made.

And the one extra thing I finished.  Yay!!  The borders are on Addie’s quilt.

For the February goals:

1.  Quilt and bind Addie’s quilt.
2.  Quilt all three QOV tops.
3.  Bind all three QOV tops.
4.  Sew Nicole’s blocks together and get border blocks made.

Getting all those goals done will be quite an accomplishment but I’m going to give it my best shot.

The goals kept me focused, but didn’t get that much done, but I did finish one.

Love that quilt for Addie! The goals helped me portion out my time in order to get all four things finished on time.

I think you dig great! But you are right – seriously – 3 tops as 1 goal? You deserve some ice cream for that one!!

Last year was supposed to be get it done year for me. I did not do that well. I think your 4 things per month is just what I need. Got all 4 things done! Yay! Thank you.

Well done and yes, I thought the same thing, “Why is Judy counting 3 quilts as one project?” Still, you whipped it all out in typical Judy style! I love Addie’s quilt – just the cutest quilt for the cutest little girl!

Awww, no link party? :-) I love this monthly goal thing! I didn’t do as well as I had hoped I would last month, but this month I’m being less . . . ambitious, and more realistic! :-)

I finally got around to writing my post about my January progress and February goals. I am sort of pleased with my progress but hope to get more accomplished this month. You can go to my blog to see my progress – the link is closed.

Judy – I forgot to say that I love Addie’s quilt. It is just adorable and I know she will feel wrapped in love when she gets it.
