On my design wall are the blocks for Nicole’s New Beginnings quilt. The border blocks are all made and I did have enough of the fabrics to match the border fabrics with the outer blocks in the quilt. There are several border to go in between the main part of the top and the pieced borders .. maybe I’ll get to those this week . . maybe not.

When the last of our kids moved out for college we also decided to get rid of our satellite. It made sense financially and we haven’t really missed it. I did like having greater access to the news, but then again, the news can make me pretty miserable…! Netflix is great and getting better all the time with all the tv shows they are adding!
