Not only are the Quiltmaker 100 Blocks issues fantastic but they also publish a special magazine called Quilts from Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, and it’s also fantastic.
I just heard from my friend, Ruthie, and she has a quilt in there too! I get so busy looking at the quilts that I didn’t even notice Ruthie!

The Spring, 2013 issue is coming soon to a quilt shop near you. I wish I knew when they’re going to be available. I’m sure I’ve been told but I can’t seem to find that info in any of my emails. In this special issue, you will find a quilt that I made from my Rainbow Dreams block which was in Volume 6 of the 100 Blocks issue.

Do you know what this proves? You all think you know everything I’m doing every minute of every day and you didn’t even know I was making this quilt! You didn’t even realize that I was slaving away in the background making something I couldn’t show you. Well, I might have mentioned that I was working on something that I couldn’t show you but what you really need to know is this: You don’t know what I’m doing every minute of every day! 
But, on the other hand . . . you probably do!
If you check the pages carefully, you will find a quilt in there that I made also!
So funny, your friend Ruthie, is a hoot. Can’t wait to see quilts and magazine. Let us know when you find out date or see one.

I love the quilt and will look for it and Ruthie’s too. I also appreciate that you mention that you are working on a project to be shared later but don’t make a big production of “having a secret” project over and over. Congratulations!

Listen I cannot imagine how you can cram anymore into your day than what you tell us!!!! You accomplish soooo much. I am sure it is because you turned off that darn TV. Off to get my 4 dogs haircuts….ouch to the wallet, my haircut, and TADA to visit a LQS where I need to get some fabric to finish their BOM challenge. It’s miniature blocks, finishing at 4 1/2 in. It has been a challenge but I can see my accuracy has been given a shot in the behind
That is why I did the challenge, and it worked….and I have a really scrappy civil war mini quilt….I will try to post pics on my blog…..Try….
One of the women in our quilt guild was a beta tester for “200 Blocks from Quiltmaker Magazine.” She convinced half the guild to buy that issue. I looked up your beauty, “Sunset Fiesta,” first thing!
A couple of magazines ago, the one with the blue Irish chain-like design with white flowers appliqued to the plain blocks on the cover…..I fell in love with that one and made it! I got the last mag too, loved that black and red color way. I think I need 3 lifetimes just so I can make half the quilts I’d like to try!!! Can’t wait to see the goodies in this new mag.
