A trip to Missouri still has not happened for me. Once the well is finished and we’ve met with the accountant about our taxes, I think I’ll get in the car and head to Missouri. I can’t wait to see them all.

She surely seems to be enjoying life . . but I guess everyone at that age is pretty happy.

And then . . there’s the bunny! The baby was trying to grab the fish a while back and now she has a bunny (or two!).
I have a picture of Chad just a little bit older than Addie and he was trying to kiss a bunny.
Not only does Addie seem to be enjoying life but I think Nicole’s parents and grandparents are enjoying her too. I’m so glad they’re close enough that they all get to spend time together. As much as I’d like for them to be living closer to us, I wouldn’t wish them to be far away from Nicole’s family. As much as I love living in Texas, if I had any idea Chad would be staying where he is, I’d be thinking about moving back to Missouri but, chances are he’ll be moving in a couple of years. For now, I’m loving the pictures that I get and looking forward to a trip to see them.

Judy, your sweet little Adelle is adorable and I so know what you mean about Nichole’s family enjoying the baby. My eldest me arrived a Texan and now they meaning my grandson dtr and sil live in TX and I’m in Canada. I would love to have them closer to me, but I know that his Mammy needs him there in here life! And I really don’t mind visiting TX in the winter.

You can tell by her expression that she adores the person taking the pictures! She is so precious. Grandchildren are certainly a joy. Enjoy all the time you can spend with her as you know, they grow up so quickly.
Addie’s such a little darlin’. Taxes suck!!! I just had an evil thought…..wouldn’t it be funny if everybody just bundled up all their tax stuff in a shoebox and sent the whole mess off to the IRS & let them figure it all out???
Today wouldn’t be a good day to head to Missouri, anyway. Snow or ice for the whole state.

Beauitful grandbaby
I was just reading back to when little Addie was born and the origin of her name. I would have a big smile and sparkling eyes if George Strait was singing to me, too. Now that song is stuck in my head. My mother’s middle name was Mae too. Maybe it is a southern thing?
She just gets prettier with each picture you post! And she sure looks like a baby with a happy disposition.
What a sweet little girl. They are fun even if we are at a distance. Its wonderful to have the internet so pictures and video’s are almost like seeing them in person.

I highly recommend that you consider “talking” with your grandbaby via Skype (it’s fee). She needs to hear your voice in order to bond with you. Even before she knows how to talk, she does know how to listen and will know who is speaking to her. This is the voice of experience here. Start now!
