Back to Square One Mystery, Clue #3

At the bottom of this post will be a link box.  Please link up to your blog post or photo showing your Cue #1 completed.  A drawing will be held probably Tuesday (but if it’s Wednesday, don’t fuss at me please!) for the winner of a fabric pack from Vicki’s Etsy shop.  Thanks again, Vicki, for sponsoring this mystery and the gifts!

Clue #3, Step 1:

Fabric 3 – Cut 2 – 8-7/8″ squares.  Cut these on the diagonal once so you have 4 triangles.  Sew these to the sides of the center from Clue #2, Step 4.  Sew opposite sides, press and then sew the two remaining sides.

Clue #3, Step 2:

Using the center, add the pieces from Clue #2, Step 2 to opposite sides.

Clue #3, Step 3: Sew the squares from Clue #2, Step 1, to the two remaining pieces from Clue #2, Step 2.

Clue #3, Step 4:  Sew the two pieces above to the top and bottom of the center section.  This completes the center section.

What do you think so far?

I was really not sure on my fabrics but I think it will come together with what I chose. Looking back maybe I should have chose a different blue instead of one so dark maybe like a cobalt….I don’t know what do you think? Thanks for all you do.

I love this so far. Like the other Sharon, I was worried about a blue I chose. Thought it might be too dark. Once I get the section together we will see!

Very neat center — it would make a great little wallhanging all on it’s own at this point.

So far so good. I love it and can’t wait to do Step 3 tonight after work.

I started a little late last month, and had no success adding my picture to the discussion, so I thought I would ask before trying again, this month. I do not have a blog, and I am not sure what should be entered in the URL box. My photobucket options are: direct link; html; html thumb code; img code; or img thumb code. Anybody know which one I should use?
    Thanks, Cathy
