The Millennium has a new owner! It was sad to see her go but she went to a new home where she will be loved and appreciated. It was really with mixed emotions that I let her go. Her new owner has been quilting on an older machine with a very small throat and I know she is going to think she’s gone to quilting heaven when she gets the new machine set up. She lives not terribly far from Chad and it was all I could do not to sneak into the back of the truck and make the rest of the trip with the quilting machine . . especially since Nicole called this morning and said “We have a crawler!” By the time I see Addie again, she will probably be walking and I will have missed the whole crawling stage. Dang it!
Anyway . . the sewing room looks a bit empty since we loaded up the longarm.
I need to get all those boxes and buckets out of the way and vacuum before the new one gets here. The boxes are actually empty .. Vince just used them to support the table after he took the legs off it.
I have til the end of April to get the new machine ordered. One minute I plan to wait, just to have more cash, and the next minute, I think . . what difference does it make . . if I order it now or order it then, once it’s ordered, I’ll have the same amount left . . which ain’t much!
Anyone brave enough to guess how long I’ll hold out before ordering the new one? You all know me better than I know myself!
