The Millennium Is Gone

The Millennium has a new owner!  It was sad to see her go but she went to a new home where she will be loved and appreciated.  It was really with mixed emotions that I let her go.  Her new owner has been quilting on an older machine with a very small throat and I know she is going to think she’s gone to quilting heaven when she gets the new machine set up.  She lives not terribly far from Chad and it was all I could do not to sneak into the back of the truck and make the rest of the trip with the quilting machine . . especially since Nicole called this morning and said “We have a crawler!”  By the time I see Addie again, she will probably be walking and I will have missed the whole crawling stage.  Dang it!

Anyway  . . the sewing room looks a bit empty since we loaded up the longarm.

Longarm is Gone!

I need to get all those boxes and buckets out of the way and vacuum before the new one gets here.  The boxes are actually empty .. Vince just used them to support the table after he took the legs off it.

I have til the end of April to get the new machine ordered.  One minute I plan to wait, just to have more cash, and the next minute, I think . . what difference does it make . . if I order it now or order it then, once it’s ordered, I’ll have the same amount left . . which ain’t much!  🙂

Anyone brave enough to guess how long I’ll hold out before ordering the new one?  You all know me better than I know myself!

With the new ones, they’re shipping out almost immediately. Heck, if I wait too long, I may decide I love having the extra space in the sewing room!

I give you until midnight tonight. You are not one to wait around! Plus you will probably need it sooner than later. Maybe they could magic marker “box of fun”on its carton! If so, you will order immediately! Enjoy your new machine!

Now you know you won’t wait! After all, you have to have a current machine I order to show potential buyers, right?! 😉

LOL…I’m with Diann. I figure you’ve ordered it before I got this comment entered! If not, then by midnight tonight I figure your order will be in! And why not?!!

Have fun and let us know who was closest on the guess!

I understand that being a dealer you need to update your machine periodically. My question is are you getting a new version of the one you just sold or a different size/model? I’m just curious.

The question is, did your copy of Square Spiral go with the machine? I reckon it would be stuck on there!

Yeah, my bet is it’s already ordered. Actually, I thought you had ordered it before you sold your machine.

i am with the rest. i can’t imagine that it is not ordered already. you may like the empty space, but you will not like not having a machine. my guess is that you will ask them if they can hurry up the delivery LOL

I’m with the others – I think you’ll order it today. I don’t think you’ll be able to sneak that box in like you do the “box of fun” deliveries!

I think you will have it ordered before the weekend is over. You will be missing your baby and besides, you do such great quilting.

Order it! You and I both know how fast the quilt tops can add up. Can’t wait to see the new one.

No later than a week from today, and probably sooner. You’ll get the room sorted and straightened, you’ll run some errands in town with Vince, you’ll play in the garden and think about chickens, and then you won’t be able to wait any longer.

I can’t believe it isn’t already ordered! I would have had it ordered about 5 minutes after the other one was packed. But then again i still haven’t got my first machine so I am a bit eager. We keep putting it off. We can’t get an answer if the MIL is coming to live or not. If she is I won’t have room, but I don’t want her to know that so she won’t let that affect her decision.

I sold my Gammill AFTER I purchased my new Innova. I was happy that I didnt’ have TWO long arms in my house at once! ACK! I was good for the 1st few weeks, but my new machine gets delivered TOMORROW! Guess who will not SLEEP tonight! Oh, and I may have to MAKE myself work on the quilt along. I have been dreaming about quilting…hehehehehehe!

LOL, when will you order your new quilting machine? My guess is 30 seconds after you hit the ‘send’ button for this post! You’ll have lots of time while waiting for the new machine to clean and re-arrange your boxes in the sewing studio, so go ahead and let your fingers wander and dance and play now. After all, you don’t get the thrill of ordering a brand new machine every day. conratulations!
