When it comes to getting yarn into this house, I have the worst luck! I almost can’t believe how bad my luck is sometimes.
Last week, a friend, Sheryl . . who is also Denise‘s friend . . and those two get me in so much trouble . . Sheryl sent an email to Denise and me about some patterns she had found on Ravelry. There were several patterns but the one I absolutely loved was Iolanthe. I don’t see it looking real good on me but it would be darling on Nicole so I sent her a message to see if she liked it and she did so I asked her to choose yarn and she did.
The yarn was supposed to arrive tomorrow . . Saturday . . when Vince is home. It’s not like I can casually walk onto the porch and pick up something left by the mail lady. No . . I have to drive down to the highway and get it. And, no . . I am not getting a post office box. Vince doesn’t really care . . he just loves to aggravate me and I so seldom go to town . . I wouldn’t even go to get yarn.
This morning I looked at the tracking and . . great! It’s going to be delivered today. The not so great part is that Vince came home for lunch and said . . I’m taking off this afternoon. Are you kidding me?? Nope, not kidding!
Here’s the pattern and the yarn. Both are just beautiful and I can’t wait to get started.
